In recognition of your child’s part in our music making community, they have been given a handprint to decorate and return to class in Term 2. In addition, I would like each child to write some goals on each finger. This will help to set a pathway for our study and encourage the children to work towards reaching these goals in 2012. Goals can include things like – learning a favourite song, learning a song by memory, completing their theory workbook or practical workbook, completing a theory or practical examination or even playing a piece for family and friends or at school assembly. Please assist your child in setting achievable goals. I would like to see at least 2 goals set with the others being added in each of the following terms.Tuesday, April 3, 2012
